Responsible
gambling - playing lotto and lotteries online.
This project sponsored
by the HIGHER SELF SOCIETY INCORPORATED NSW INC9885910 aims to provide
information and resources about playing lotto and lottery games responsibly
and safely. It is not a moratorium on the rights or wrongs of
gambling.
The Society is not about the prohibition of any lawful
activity. We are realists--and we are perfectly aware that
prohibiting, moralizing, and preaching against any form of behaviour has a
counterproductive effect. There are universal laws that state "what
you resist must persist". Essentially what we focus on we energize.
If your focus is on problem gambling, then you will experience more problem
gambling--in your life and the lives of people around you.
We believe that if an activity is lawful and does not harm the self, other
people or the field, there is absolutely nothing wrong in participating in
that activity. In this case we have chosen the topic of online
gambling: playing lotto, playing lotteries and playing at online casinos.
This is because we believe that online gambling is likely to become (or we
should say already is) a more popular and riskier way of gambling for the
following reasons ...
-
Despite the best efforts
online gambling is difficult to monitor. Anyone who has access to
a credit card can place an online bet. There are responsible
online government accredited lotto agents and lottery agents who
have in place a multilayer approach that is effective in preventing
unlawful gambling by minors.
Individual who are unlikely to visit clubs and casinos because of their
requirements (for example) physical distance and dress code, will
find it very appealing to jump on line. We suspect that the online
gambling population already far exceeds the population of traditional
gamblers. Of course this does not apply to the individuals who
enjoy the socializing aspect of gambling.
-
Problem gamblers online
are less likely or unlikely to be detected. Once again,
accredited and licensed online lotto and lottery agents will put in
place guidelines to help prevent problem gambling, but many do not.
Problem gamblers can be easily detected in clubs and casinos. In
Australia is it a requirement for licensed gambling organizations to
offer training in responsible gambling to their staff.
So there is little doubt
in our minds that the only useful way to help people enjoy lawful gambling
activities is TO INFORM THEM. Educating people about online gaming and
online gambling, and providing them with valid resources, is far more
productive and useful than to vilifying them and oppressing them with
useless moralizing and preaching.

THE REAL FACTS
-
Playing lotto and
lotteries online and visiting online casinos can be fun and even
rewarding. In the case of lotto and lotteries, each week a
number of lucky individuals WILL become instant millionaires . We do not
have sufficient data to evaluate the profitability probabilities of
playing at online casino sites; but we do know that multitudes of people
all around the world will become instant millionaires today. The
probabilities of winning lotto or lotteries online are equal for each
individual. So when you play a lotto or lottery game online
you have an equal chance of winning a first dividend prize, PROVIDED
that the game is
legitimate and is audited by the relevant authorities. Is it
possible for you to win--yes it is. Is it probable that you will
win--no it is not--but it is possible.
-
Playing lotto and
lotteries online and visiting online casinos that are not licensed or
accredited by gaming authorities places you in a high risk of being
defrauded. We know that where there are large amounts of money,
there you will also find criminals--this is and undisputed fact.
-
Crime gangs have
realized the enormous earning potential of online gambling.
They have unlimited amounts of money to invest in hiring the best
programmers and internet developers. There is little doubt in
our minds that online crime and criminal activities is destined to
become (if it already is not) the primary form of criminal activity
in the future.
-
There are few
law enforcement agencies in the world that are equipped and trained
to deal with online crime. The general attitude among law
enforcement agencies is that online crime is "too difficult" to
solve and to prove. For this reason reporting an online crime
to your local police station is likely to be a rather uneventful and
frustrating experience. This is simply because police have no
training and no resources how to investigate these crimes. it
is surprising that Governments have not yet realized the damage that
online criminal gangs are causing to people and the economy.
As it is large amounts of money are being lost to international
criminal gangs who are operating without fear of being prosecuted.

-
-
Establishing a
budget for your online gambling activities will prevent you from
becoming a problem gambler--it actually proves that you are not addicted
to gambling.
-
When setting your
budget, start by deducting all your obligations such as regular
payments, food and other normal living expenses. If you do not
do so, the temptation will come to gamble this money in an effort to
"get rich". This will have devastating results and will
definitely cause you to become a problem gambler. Universal
law tells us that when we undertake any activity while being in a
high state of anxiety, and therefore vibrating at very dense
frequencies, we are most likely to attract loss. So your
chances of winning while in a state of guilt for squandering your
mortgage, rent or groceries money is literally zero. On the
other hand the chances of winning when you are feeling good, happy
and relaxed are higher.
-
Make sure to
deduct your entertainment expenses (family activities, movies, and
other non-gambling activities. This is because many problem
gamblers will spend the family's entertainment money attempting to
"win the big one". Doing so will alienate your loved ones and
will have severe repercussions on the morale of the entire family.
-
Deduct money for
savings and valid investments. Do not be fooled into thinking that
playing online lotto and lottery games and visiting online casinos
is an investment. None of these are an investment--they are
games, that is all they are.
-
Do not gamble any more
than 10% of the amount of money that is left after all the above
deductions have taken place.
For example if you earn $1,500.00 net per week, and your
mortgage is $350, your family groceries and other personal expenses
bill is $400.00, and savings and entertainment is $400, you are left
with $350 disposable income. 10% of $350 is $35. That is
the amount you can enjoy to bet every week--and no more.
If you hear a little voice in your head telling you that you can
spend more "because you are likely to win a fortune" you are being
seduced into becoming a problem gambler.
If your online gambling game requires you to spend more than $35,
the you can pool the weekly budget over a few weeks--instead of
playing once a week, play once every two weeks. There is
evidence to suggest that the wheeling of lotto numbers or
playing lotto syndicates that are legitimate will increase your
chances of winning. Lotto and lotteries online are games of
chance, it does make sense that your chances of winning increases
when you purchase a larger number of tickets or play a larger
combination of numbers. In such a case a lottery syndicate is
a great way of increasing your chances of winning. You could
start a lottery syndicate online account free of charge or
participate in already established
lotto syndicate. Forming a syndicate can be a lot of fun.
There are clear guidelines available from various lottery agencies
about the governance of reputable online lotto syndicates.
There is little data available on online casinos. So we have
to rely on outside articles on this subject.
-
Most importantly
remember that playing Lotto and Lotteries online is a game and
nothing else. Playing lotto and lotteries online is a form of
entertainment be sure you realize this important fact.

-
Be prepared to win
-
Yes you read
correctly. Be prepared to win. We know that your
vibrations can attract or repel wealth and this includes lottery and
lotto wins. If you have a belief that "it is a sin to play
lotto or to buy a lottery ticket" your chances of winning are non
existent. You might as well spend the $35 per week on a good
movie and you will get more value for your money.
-
If you believe that
money is the root of all evil, you will never have any. Money
is not the root of all evil. Greed is the root of all evil.
Judging by the immense wealth gathered by al the various religions
of this world--wealth cannot possibly be a sin--greed is.
Money is energy and it can be used for the good of the field or for
evil and selfish purposes. Playing games that have the
potential of making you very rich with the belief that money is evil
is totally nonsensical--you are unlikely to win with that kind of
mindset.
-
If you believe that
you are not worthy of having large sums of money or that becoming a
lotto millionaire is "uncool" or that it is dangerous to have large
sums of money, you will block your chances of winning the big one.
Poverty is uncool, misery is uncool, having to struggle through life
is very uncool--winning millions of dollars is not only cool, it is
absolutely wonderful.
-
Speaking from personal
experience, I have been poor and I have been rich--and rich is
better. As a wealthy person I was able to help people and fund
wonderful projects that helped me evolve spiritually and mentally.
As a poor person I was not able to do any such thing. I was
just miserable and hemmed in. All human being have the right
to have as much wealth as they need to explore this planet and
evolve. Evolving spiritually and mentally requires you to buy books,
visit the world and meet different people--you cannot simply do that
without money. So get this absurd idea out of your head
BEFORE you play online lotto or lotteries. To do so is the
equivalent of driving a car with the handbrake on.
-
Read
success stories and
tweets
from other lottery winners often,
watch
inspiring videos that cause you to feel the exhilarating joy of
winning--get into a vibrations of winning. Avoid discussing
your online lottery or lotto activities with people who are likely
to ridicule you. These people are charged with a "negative
loser" energy. They believe they cannot possibly win and they
carry this energy with them--do not become infected with that kind
of loser energy. You are playing the game because you want to
win are you not? So entertain winning thoughts.
-
Role play in your mind
what you will do when you win the first prize. This will not
only create even more positive energy that will help you attract a
win--it will also cause you to prepare emotionally and mentally.
Here are some of the things that you will need to consider if you
win the first dividend prize in the lottery or lotto. These
recommendations are based on real life experiences of multitudes of
lottery winners who lost all their money and became destitute due to
poor management of their money. Many of them would still be
millionaires today if they had read this page.
-
Select VERY
CAREFULLY a list of people who will know about your win.
Unless you want to expose yourself and your family to the
attention of criminal elements, we suggest you tell no one
outside your immediate family and instruct them to do the same.
Explain that if the news of your lottery win is publicised the
entire family will no longer have any peace. Under no
circumstances allow your face to appear in public while holding
your $20 million dollar cheque.
-
Read as many
stories as possible of people who have won the lottery or lotto
and learn from their mistakes.
-
Deposit the
winning in a high interest bearing account (I am told bank
managers act like high school cheerleaders when dealing with
multimillion dollar lotto winners). Leave your lottery win
in the bank for a few days and until the first wave of
excitement has settled down. During this time discuss your
options with your accountant. Then divide the winning in
two halves. The first half you enjoy absurdly and buy
whatever you fancy. The second half you invest so that it
will generate a regular income for the rest of your life.
Good investments are strategic real estate, precious metals and
other commodities. Avoid investing in the stock market
unless you are prepared to lose your investment and become poor
again. Do not trust any investor advice who suggests
you should invest your entire win in shares they are suggesting.
-
Be prepared to share a
portion of your wealth
-
Allocate 10% of your
win to help other people. Select causes that help people and
animals and that are willing to show you how your donation is going
to be spent. Our choice in Australia would be W.I.R.E.S and
the Salvation Army and, of course, the
Source Power Trust Fund who
sponsored this website and article.
-
The allocation of 10 %
of your net income to helping others is called "tithing". The
practice of "Tithing" has been going on for tens of thousands of
years and it is widely observed in current times. "Tithing" is
said to cause the flow of wealth to continue uninterrupted. I
know a lot of "thithers" and I do not know of any "ex-thithers".
This is how good tithing is.
And most importantly, enjoy
life and be as happy and as loving as you can be.
Good luck, may you win your
lotto or lottery first prize soon!
